CURRENT STATUS: accepting a very limited number of review requests (updated Jan. 18, 2024)
While I am extremely grateful for all the review requests and offers I receive, I just do not have the time to review every book that I am offered. Due to the sheer number of requests I currently receive, I do not have the time to respond to every message. If you do not hear from me within ONE WEEK of your query, please assume that I cannot accept your request at this time.
I read books written for Adults, Middle Grade, Young Adults and everyone in between.
My preferred genres are:
- Mysteries, especially Cozy, Traditional or Classic Mysteries
- Historical Fiction, especially stories set in the UK
- Food and Culinary writing
I will, of course, consider books from all genres – if it sounds interesting to me, I’ll accept it. However, please note that I DO NOT READ horror, religious, self-help, poetry, romance or erotica.
I prefer to read in print (paperback or hardback), but will also accept e-books in EPUB format.
All reviews are free and will be shared as followed:
- a full review here on book frolic
- an abbreviated review on my Instagram, Facebook and GoodReads pages
- reviews on NetGalley if applicable
- shares with links to my blog review on my various social media accounts
I am also open to doing cover reveals, giveaways, blog tour hosting, and interviews with authors of books I have read.
