IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! Oh wait, I mean IT’S MY ONE-YEAR BLOG ANNIVERSARY (it’s also my birthday but that’s not what this post is really about). When I started this blog one year ago I had no idea what to expect. But here I am, 365 days later and still having a blast!
I wasn’t sure what to write about to celebrate this milestone, so here are some highlights from the past year:
- Number of published posts: 74
- Number of books reviewed: 42
- Number of authors interviewed: 7
- Most popular blog post of the past year: 5 for Friday: Signs that you were born to be a Book Lover

I’m excited for new blogging adventures and highlights in 2020. Some of the things I hope to accomplish in the new year:
- work on my Instagram account a bit more
- more author interviews and book reviews
- completed my #AtoZCozy2020 challenge (you can read more about that here)
- a book-related cooking project that I’ll share more details about later this year
Of course, one of the main reasons that I’ve really enjoyed book blogging this past year is the amazing people I’ve met. There have been so many amazing bloggers, authors, book lovers, and book professionals that have been incredibly supportive and encouraging.
