I’m a coffee addict living my best life on the South Carolina coast with my family. We have five dogs and a turtle. When I’m not writing or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, knitting, and binging Netflix with my golden retriever.

- When I was a kid, I wanted to be a weathergirl because it would allow me to be on television without having to move to California.
- I’m allergic to both cinnamon and dogs, so I named my golden retriever Cinnamon.
- Gilmore Girls is my favorite TV series and I’ve binge-watched it in its entirety at least ten times (including the reboot on Netflix).
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START WRITING? WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO WRITE COZY MYSTERIES?
I’ve been telling stories from the time I was a child. I decided to write cozy mysteries because I wanted to write in a genre that wouldn’t be awkward to discuss with my sons, who were young teenagers at that time.
WHAT SUBGENRE(S) OR THEMES OF COZY MYSTERIES DO YOU WRITE?
All my cozy mysteries have both pets and paranormal elements – sometimes at the same time!
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR COZY MYSTERY SERIES. WHAT INSPIRES YOUR SERIES?
My first cozy mystery series it the Haunted Housekeeping series. The main characters have a housekeeping business, but each time they try to get out of the business, they end up cleaning up another crime in their small town. Inspiration can come from anywhere and everywhere, and it often does!
WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE LOVE TO READ COZY MYSTERIES?
I think people like to read cozy mysteries because they’re fun escapes from real life.
ASIDE FROM BEING AN AUTHOR, ARE YOU INVOLVED IN THE COZY COMMUNITY IN ANY OTHER WAY?
I’m a member of Sisters In Crime and friends with many cozy mystery authors.
WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE WRITERS?
Although there are far too many to name, Elizabeth Spann Craig, Eliza Watson, Molly Fitz, Rosie Pease, and Emmie Lyn hover around the top of my list of favorite cozy mystery authors.

Anne of Green Gables (L.M. Montgomery), The Hobbit (J. R. R. Tolkien), and a blank notebook
